Whitetrash series

Like the Before the Game series [link] and The Cup series [link] before it showing the accumulation of objects no longer wanted by society brought to light by poor event management not emptying the bins before they began to overflow. I guess in the case of the Melbourne City Council they didn't realise how popular the Melbourne White Night was going to be which by all accounts was popular.

Trying to keep things objective in a Bernd Hilla and Becher [link] kind of way.

Before the Game series

Pretty much the same as The Cup [link] series, just a different location. Looking at how presence is arrived at through accumulation or lack of ground management to empty the bins before they are over flowing. I guess like the grandfinal is a build up of the entire season.

The images were taken at the 2011 Australian Rules Football (AFL) grand final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
