Nexus series

Once again getting all meta, making art from art but that's just how I roll, proving again a series doesn't have  to take 12 years to make to have value in and of itself. Just by observing water coming together with light.  

From the Deep was a show part of the fantastic White Night: Melbourne festival. It sure did look pretty.

Trees: Volume II series

As you can probably tell given this is the second volume on trees [see Volume I [link]], I kind of like them and preferably at night. Yeah yeah Bill Henson has done this moody night time landscape stuff to death [link] ,so I guess I took a number and got in line. Why deviate from the path of least resistance? 

These trees were in the Victorian coastal town of Anglesea.    . 

Road Booty series

Road booty is the term used at Camp Merrowvista for objects recovered from the side of the road, during the 4-22 day unsupported touring bike rides. Contained in this series, is a selection of booty that the campers left in the MV bikeshop, rather than take home with them. Each object has a story to tell and embody the journey the group, as a whole went through. The places they visited and the people they met.  

Putting to good use the objective perspective pioneered by Bernd & Hilla and Becher [link].
