Trees: Volume II series

As you can probably tell given this is the second volume on trees [see Volume I [link]], I kind of like them and preferably at night. Yeah yeah Bill Henson has done this moody night time landscape stuff to death [link] ,so I guess I took a number and got in line. Why deviate from the path of least resistance? 

These trees were in the Victorian coastal town of Anglesea.    . 

Mystic River series

Henson [link], put this in your pipe and smoke it that goes for you too Gursky [link]. 

Setting my exposure to focus on the specular reflections of the midday sun off the turbulent water in a river in Northern New Hampshire. The lowkey aesthetic feels a bit like a sonogram [link].    

Base series

Subjects that I can graphically abstract, my eye always seems to be drawn to. Case in point, nothing more than the base of a floor on a construction site, that still had the protective tape on it. Like ripples in a stream. man-made mimicking nature.
