Tree: volume I series

tim macauley, timothy macauley, you wont see this at moma

Taken on a corner in an affluent outer Sydney suburb. It's graphic, yet the organic nature of the subject manner I felt added something to it. Continuing to follow the rule that there is nothing that can't be abstracted

Bill Henson [link] did a bunch of work on moody landscapes at night but nothing this abstract and up close.

If you like this checkout the second volume [link].

9/11 Remembered series

I applied the long shutter duration technique to news reports, most notably the 10th anniversary of the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Centre buildings in New York City in 2001.

The overlaying images and camera movements baked into the images allow for a reinterpretation and focusing of the detail within moments that may have been over looked by watching the video alone.
